What I collect

• When you send an inquiry about a piece: your name, your email address, your message, and your phone number if you choose to give it.
• When you leave a note on a picture: your name and your note. It is shown under the picture, with your name and the date, only after I approve it. I can delete it at any time.
• When you send a suggestion: your name, your suggestion, and your email address if you choose to give it. Only I read suggestions; they are never shown on the site.
• To keep out spam: when you send a note or a suggestion, the site keeps a scrambled code made from your network address for one day, so that one visitor can send at most 3 an hour. Your address itself is not stored.
• A count of visits: the site counts how many visits each page gets per day. To avoid counting the same visitor twice in a day, it makes a short scrambled code from your network address and browser type. The code cannot be turned back into your address, the key used to make it is thrown away every day, and your address itself is not stored. Only I can see the counts.
• One necessary cookie: it protects the forms from misuse and keeps me signed in as the owner. It holds no information about you and is not used to follow you.

What I do not do

• No advertising, no tracking cookies, no outside analytics services.
• I do not sell, rent or share your information for marketing.
• No mailing list. I write to you only to answer your inquiry.

How I use it

• To answer your inquiry.
• To see which pages and pieces interest visitors.

Who else can see it

• The company that hosts the site, DigitalOcean, in the United States, stores the data on its servers for me.
• No one else, unless the law requires it.

How long I keep it

• Inquiries: until your question is answered and for up to 24 months after, then deleted. Sooner if you ask.
• Visit counts: kept as totals only, with nothing about any person.

Your choices

Ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it: HectorSamlut@outlook.com. I answer within 30 days.
